TravelManagers to focus on agents support

first_imgSource = e-Travel Blackboard: N.J. Building and improving the network is the number one priority for TravelManagers in 2013, according to the group’s general manager Michael Gazal.Speaking at the agency’s National Conference held in Fiji over the weekend, Mr Gazal told agents that a key strategy for group’s head office next year will be to focus on supporting the network by “clearly understanding” what agents value. In line with the 2013 conference theme, ‘working together to make a difference’, he said while it is important to improve and grow to compete in the market, the agency would benefit from adding value that supports personal travel managers (PTMs).“We only know what we know,” he explained.“But a key strategy for me is to clearly understand what you value, not what we think you value.”Improving margins and gaining access to better deals will also be on the list of things to improve in 2013 as well as getting increasing famil opportunities.According to the company’s head, in 2012 the agency’s network experienced seven percent organic growth compared to 2011, with agent numbers increasing from 300 to 370.For more information click back onto e-Travel Blackboard tomorrow.  Meanwhile, Kim Wudko also unveiled a new partnership between the agency group and Cruiseco, giving agents access to more deals in the growing sector.Click here for more on the new agreement, otherwise click here to check out pictures from day one of the annual conference. last_img read more
