At present most of the existing water systems are inadequate and inefficient with high maintenance costs. Some water sources have insufficient dry season flows to meet present and future demands. Among the present problems are frequent leakage due to aging pipe networks and high turbidity after heavy rainfall due to lack of filtration facilities.” She said the project will vastly improve the quality of water service to the entire west coast and expand the coverage to areas not presently served.Dominica Vibes News LocalNews West Coast Water Project underway by: – October 20, 2011last_img
