They would be receiving three bonuses,according to Joecil Mayor, president of the Association of Iloilo ProvincialGovernment Employees (AIPGE). On the other hand, employees ofcapitol offices ranked between 5 to 14 would each be receiving a PBB of 57.75percent of their monthly salaries. ILOILO – The holidays would surely bemerry and bright for some 2,200 regular employees of the provincial government. According to Mayor, the PBB was forthe 2017 performance only. It was in 2017 when they applied with the Departmentof Interior and Local Government for the PBB, but it was only recently that theprovincial government received confirmation that the PBB was approved, heexplained. For employees of offices rankedbetween 15 to 40, the PBB would be 50 percent of their monthly salaries. Therefore, said Mayor, employeesappointed in 2018 and 2019 were not eligible for the PBB.
