Now, he’s headed to the Midwest.Dormady announced he will be transferring to Central Michigan for his final college season.He appeared in just one game for the Cougars in 2018.“During that time, I was able to redshirt, which allowed me to get healthy, stronger and faster,” Dormady wrote about his time at Houston. “I now have the opportunity to play my final collegiate season at Central Michigan University.”Fire Up Chips??— Quinten Dormady (@qdormady) December 11, 2018Dormady was a four-star recruit in the 2015 class out of Boerne (Tex.) High School. He was the 11th-ranked Pro-Style passer in the country, per 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.Dormady appeared in 16 games for the Vols over three seasons, starting the first five games of the 2017 campaign. He threw for 1,282 yards, seven touchdowns and six interceptions.At Houston, Dormady was stuck behind D’Eriq King, who put up massive numbers for the Cougars. He completed 2-of-5 passes for eight yards in his lone appearance for UH against Arizona.last_img
